Aleksandra Wiencek, Site Manager Manager in Kędzierzyn-Koźle

My name is Aleksandra, and i have been working since April of 2014 as a manager in Kędzierzyn Koźle. My experience with this work started much earlier, in 1998, the year when the first Shell Station in our town was set up. I was employed as a shift supervisor. It quickly became clear that this job is created directly for me. With the help of my subsequent superiors I gained knowledge and experience that has helped me in my whole career.

Change is the only certain thing in our life. In 2004 I resigned the work at Shell to try my own business. It took 10 years, but I have never split up with trade. In the spring of 2014, after all those years, there was an opportunity to return, and I didn’t hesitate for any minute. Now I'm the station manager.

Violetta Wasiak, Site Manager

It has took almost 10 years from my first day at the Shell Station. It was in 1998, when I was making my first steps as a cashier. After 3 years I was promoted to the Manager position.

This role is not only a facility management, but most of all it’s about working with people. the Success of all of us depends on a collaborative relationship. That’s why I put on a professional training, clear communication and mutual respect. Working with people gives me energy, which is forging the success of my team.

As a manager I’m responsible for the proper functioning of the administrative and accounting station. Although it seems monotonous, it’s definitely not routine duties. Every day is different and brings different challenges.

It is not only my job, but also a passion that gives me a lot of satisfaction. It took almost 19 years, and I feel like it was only a year.

Rafał Fabisiak, Shell Station Supervisor/Deputy Manager in Sochaczew

For over a year I have been Shell Station Supervisor/Deputy Manager, but I started as an assistant at the driveway. For several years I was refueling, helping and advising clients in minor technical issues, such as checking tire pressure, oil level in the engine, or recommending the selection of appropriate car fluids and products.

I remember that time very well. I like to advise clients, and look when most of them are satisfied and return to the station. It proves that it is worth to effort. Especially that for the good results Shell rewards its employees. In 2013 I was granted with a trip to Italy, to the factory and the Ferrari Museum in Maranello.

Positive attitude helps not only in a purely business obligations. I’m a perfect example. Just listen to my story. One day, in the car, which appeared at the driveway, I noticed in one of the wheels very low pressure. I offered to help with the operation of the compressor, and the client was so pleased with the service that she wanted me to reward with a tip. She didn’t have any cash, however, because she promised that she would return. She kept her promise. Now she’s coming to the station regularly, but now as Mrs. Fabisiak - my wife.

Now I worked as deputy manager of the station. The new position commits, so I try to continually improve my skills. I finished my studies in the field of occupational health and safety, and I’m studying management right now. All of this to do my duties in a better way.
